Owned and operated several small businesses, including 3D Computer Systems, Inc.

Systems analyst, computer programmer, and database designer for primarily healthcare settings
WHY I’M RUNNING
To continue the work I began on Council — and to finish what still needs finishing:

Sharper communication between City Hall and residents

A healthier urban canopy — preserving trees, controlling invasive plants, subsidizing replacements

Efficient City spending, reviewed dollar by dollar

A fairer tax base
ISSUES FACING PARK HILLS
Safety on our streets — for pedestrians, cyclists, and everyone else moving through the neighborhood — remains the biggest daily concern. Drivers must stop at stop signs, and consistent speed-limit enforcement is far more effective than sprinkling speed bumps across every street. Beyond that: protecting our tree canopy, holding the line on spending, and making sure residents can see where their tax dollars go.
LEADERSHIP I BRING TO COUNCIL
During my prior term I helped:

Restore active enforcement of speed limits and stop signs — before my time on Council, tickets for either were rarely written

Move the police department into acceptable space at minimum expense

Put a road-tax reduction on the ballot so voters could decide

Significantly lower the business tax rate, based on prior Council work

Acquire a city building for approximately $300,000
Reading a budget with an eye for waste is a discipline I have practiced in medicine, in small business, and on Council. That business acumen — and the willingness to ask hard questions — is what I bring back.
IN CLOSING
We are the City of Park Hills. Our trees give us shade, cleaner air, higher property values, and the character our neighborhoods are known for. They are a resource that isn’t always adequately protected. I am working with the Tree Board to preserve the canopy, remove invasive plants — honeysuckle and aggressive vines — and promote a subsidized replacement plan for trees that cannot be saved, using current best management practices.
I would be honored to serve Park Hills on City Council again.
